ATB Invoicing allows you to manually record payments for invoices settled outside of automated online processing. This guide explains how to record cash, cheque, or direct deposit payments to keep your business records up to date.
1. Cash, cheque, and direct deposit (EFT)
When a client pays you through these mechanisms, the payment must be recorded manually so your dashboard reflects your true revenue and invoice statuses.
- Where to do it: Navigate to your sent invoice, open the Preview, click the three dots (...) menu, and select Mark as Paid.
- Full payments only: ATB Invoicing currently supports recording full payments only through this menu option. Partial payment tracking is coming in a future update.
- Receipt generation: Once marked as paid, ATB Invoicing updates the invoice status on your dashboard and generates a receipt for your records and client reporting.
