Setting up and editing your brand color and logo

Add your logo and brand color so your invoices and quotes look like they come from your business. This article shows you how to set them up, change them, or remove them.

Before you begin

You will need:

  • An admin role. The Manage Organization option appears in the menu for admins only.
  • For a logo: a PNG, JPEG or WebP image file of 5 MB or less.
  • For a color: the 6-digit hex code of your brand color, such as #0072F0, if you have one.

You may have already set a brand color and logo while setting up your organization. You can change them at any time.

Step 1: Open the Brand card

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner of the app.
  2. Choose Manage Organization.
  3. On the Business Details tab, find the Brand card under Organization Details. It shows your current Brand Color and Brand Logo, or None selected.
  4. Click the Brand card (or its pencil icon) to edit it.

Step 2: Set your brand color

Your brand color is used for the title and total on your invoices and quotes, and in the emails sent to your customers.

  1. Under Brand Color, type a hex code in the field, such as #1B5E20.
  2. Or, click the color swatch at the end of the field and choose a color.
  3. Click Save.

To remove your brand color, clear the field and click Save. Your documents then use the default color.

Note. The brand color appears as text on a white background, so very light colors are not accepted. If you see "That color is too light to read on a white invoice," choose a darker shade.

Step 3: Upload your logo

Your logo appears at the top of your invoices and quotes.

  1. Under Brand Logo, click Upload.
  2. Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image of 5 MB or less.

The logo saves as soon as the upload finishes, and "Logo updated." appears. You do not need to click Save for logo changes.

Tip. Use a logo with a transparent or white background so it blends with the white invoice page.

Step 4: Replace or remove your logo

With the Brand card open:

  • To use a different logo, click Replace and choose a new image.
  • To remove your logo, click Delete. "Logo removed." appears.

Both changes take effect immediately.

Where your branding appears

Your brand color and logo apply to all of your invoices and quotes, including the page your customer opens from their link. When you change your branding, the update also shows on invoices and quotes you have already sent.

Common issues

"Enter a 6-digit hex color, e.g. #0072F0"

The color must start with # followed by six characters using 0 to 9 and A to F. Three-digit codes such as #FFF are not accepted.

"Choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 5MB."

The file is too large or in an unsupported format, such as SVG or PDF. Save the logo as a PNG or JPEG, reduce its size, and try again.
