What is ATB Invoicing

ATB Invoicing is a web app for Alberta businesses to create quotes and invoices, send them to customers, and track how and when they are paid. It connects to your ATB business account and uses your ATB Business sign-in, so there is no separate account to manage.

What you can do

  • Keep a customer directory. Store each customer's legal name, contact details, billing and shipping addresses, tags, and internal notes. Set per-customer defaults such as payment terms and preferred payment methods.
  • Create quotes. Prepare a quote with line items, taxes, an expiry date, and anticipated service dates. Your customer can accept or decline it, and you can convert an accepted quote into an invoice.
  • Create invoices. Add line items, GST/HST and PST/QST, customer notes, and internal notes. Choose a due date from payment terms such as Net 30, or pick a custom date.
  • Send your way. Send quotes and invoices by email or text message from ATB Invoicing, or share a link or a PDF through your own channels.
  • Reuse your work. Save quote and invoice templates, and save frequently used line items and notes so you do not have to retype them.
  • Get paid. Offer your customers one or more payment options: Interac e-Transfer, EFT (direct deposit), cheque, or cash.
  • Track payments. Interac e-Transfer payments are tracked automatically. When a customer pays by EFT, cheque, or cash, you mark the invoice as paid yourself.
  • See where you stand. Your dashboard shows what you are owed, what is overdue, which quotes and invoices need attention, and how much GST/HST you have collected this month.
  • Work as a team. People from your business can join your organization as team members, and an administrator controls what they can do.

How payment options work

You choose which payment methods your organization accepts when you set up ATB Invoicing. Each invoice or quote can then include any of those methods. Interac e-Transfer requests go into your ATB account, and EFT payments go to the ATB account you choose.

Note. Amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Who ATB Invoicing is for

ATB Invoicing is built for Alberta small businesses with an ATB business account that bill other businesses or individuals. It works in any modern web browser on a computer, tablet, or phone. There is no separate monthly subscription fee; standard account transaction fees or limits apply to incoming payments.
